I’m Ann McCarron, also known as Mrs. Bloom, a flower farmer, florist and qualified horticulturist based just outside Belfast. With over 10 years of experience, I specialise in facilitating community horticulture and horticultural therapy workshops, as well as delivering accredited horticultural training.

After a long career in public policy, I decided to take the leap and follow my passion for growing and it has been the best decision I’ve ever made. Working with nature and embracing the rhythm of the changing seasons is deeply rewarding.

For over a decade, I’ve shared my love of gardening by teaching horticultural skills in community settings, which has been an incredibly enriching experience. My other passion lies in growing beautiful, seasonal cut flowers. At Mrs. Bloom, we’re committed to sustainability, cultivating our flowers and foliage locally without pesticides or single-use plastics.
